Full Job Description


The Cannabis Operations/Budtender reports to the GM and is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the daily operations (budtending assistance, product packaging, marketing assistant, kitchen assistance, lab assistant, general labor assistance, etc.).


Policies, Procedures & Daily Operations

  • Responsible for the operational procedures for accurate filling, packaging and labeling of all products ensuring compliance with company, local and state policies and procedures and product specifications
  • Ensures adherence with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to ensure the safety and efficacy of all products
  • Ability to manage multiple daily projects and ensure daily production schedules and goals that have been set by VP are met
  • Assist with marketing of Tricann Alternatives on all social media
  • Creation of email blasts as needed.
  • Ensure compliance at all times with all sanitation regulations and safety standards with all products being packed and make by Tricann Alternatives
  • Performing duties as needed outlined in the daily schedule
  • Upholding all Tricann Alternatives policies and procedures.
  • Perform routine data entry for inventory

Marketing Knowledge

  • Support senior management in organizing various projects
  • Assist with marketing outreach, campaign development and execution
  • Trade show logistics management
  • Content development for internal and external audiences – website, customer support materials, brochures, press releases, ad placements
  • Assist in organizing promotional events, traditional or digital campaigns
  • Maintain media database


  • Experience in cannabis field
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
  • Very strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of computer skills
  • Strong and effective task-management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail – ability to monitor, organize and maintain POS system accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment
  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts
  • Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Additional Requirements

  • No criminal history
  • State and Federal background check required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be a Maine State resident
