Calyx Containers exists to solve some of the largest problems facing the budding cannabis industry: packaging and inventory management.  Rooted in the cannabis industry, our passion is transforming how people transport, brand, and consume the products they love.   We’ve developed a suite of packaging products for flower, concentrates, joints, in addition to a modular tray system designed to standardize the transportation and reconciliation process. We’ve made it easier for industries requiring child-resistant packaging to be compliant in a unique and modern way.

We are looking for a Manager, Strategic Accounts to help us meet our revenue growth targets via stabilization and growth of  key customers.  You will be responsible for maximizing our Key Account sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.  You will use your deep sales coaching experience to lead a team of Account Managers.  You will take charge of managing organizational sales by developing business and account plans, meeting planned goals, and overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team.

Responsibilities

    • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the Account Manager Sales Team
    • Design and implement a strategic business plan that drives growth with key named accounts via cross-selling and upselling Calyx solutions
    • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
    • Build and promote strong, long-term customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
    • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Proven experience leading a team of individual contributors
    • Knowledge of and experience with forecasting
    • Strong performance management skills
    • Sales coaching experience
    • Cannabis and/or packaging experience highly desired
